Every real change to our guides, newest first: 25 so far. We add an entry when a fact or a step changes, not when we fix a typo. How we decide is in our editorial policy.

    Added two questions to the FAQ: how Claude Code works, and what to do with the files it makes. The desktop app's text field is now called the prompt box, as in Anthropic's docs.

    Desktop app: Local, the folder (Open folder…) and the mode selector now sit in the row under the prompt box, as in Anthropic's current quickstart. New illustrations; the old keyboard shortcut for the mode menu is gone from the docs.

    Removed the claim that Pro pays off once it saves you an hour or two: we don't promise time savings. Added what to do after picking a plan.
